Casselberry police have arrested the driver of a car who lost control and crashed into a gas station, starting a potentially deadly fire. They report that the accident occurred around 2 a.m. one recent morning at a Circle K gas station as the driver was speeding down State Road 436 and attempted to make a turn at Howell Branch Road. Police report that the driver lost control of his car while making the turn and crashed into the gas station. Officers say that the quick actions of the gas station attendant prevented a much larger fire, as he assessed the situation and hit the station’s emergency gas shutoff valve.
