One Dead, Two Injured in Miami Motorcycle Accident

By Orlando Personal Injury Attorney on June 29, 2015

Early Sunday morning a violent motorcycle accident took the life of one and injured two others. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Christian Salazar and 21-year-old Miriam Perez-Duarte were driving side by side when they collided and were thrown off their vehicles. Salazar died on the scene and Perez-Duarte was rushed to the nearby hospital. A passerby attempted to stop and help but ended up crashing into the debris with minor injuries. The accident happened at around 4am on I-95 Southbound in Miami. The cause is still being investigated.

Almost all motorcycle accidents result in severe injuries and unfortunately this one ended with the loss of a young life. According to Ride Smart Florida, motorcycle injuries and fatalities have outnumbered those of car accidents for, at least, the past 15 years and the numbers have only been going up since 2010. Even the most careful of riders can still be injured from accidents. Thankfully there is the Law Offices of James O. Cunningham to help get those injured back on their feet.
