Minor Injuries Follow a Fender Bender on Florida US 29
Two people are recovering from minor injuries following a car accident that happened last week near Pensacola, Florida. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 60 year old male was driving his 2014 Dodge Ram northbound in the outside lane of US Highway 29 near the intersection with Carolina Drive. At the same intersection, a 52 year old male driver in a Ford F-150 was stopped facing north in the outside lane of US 29. Directly behind him was a 39 year old female driver in her Chevy Malibu.
Multiple Fatalities in Fiery Tampa Area Crash
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Florida Highway Patrol, are investigating a multi-car crash that left three adults and two children dead. According to law enforcement officials, the fiery accident occurred on Coconut Palm Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
28-year-old Motorcyclist Dead After Being Thrown from Bike and Dragged 1/4 of a Mile
A horrific traffic accident occurred on Saturday night that left one man dead and charges potentially being leveled against two others. According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s report, James Lorraine, a 28-year-old, was driving his motorcycle westbound on East Colonial Drive, close to where it crosses State Road 417. At this same moment, a Nissan Sentra, driven by the 23-year-old Christopher Shuman, was turning across East Colonial Drive in order to access the highway. Shuman, who had a yield sign, either ignored the sign or did not see the motorcyclist. He cut directly in front of Lorraine, causing Lorraine to collide with the side of Shuman’s vehicle and fly off his bike.
Hit and Run Leaves Orlando Father Dead
A father and husband was recently killed in the Orlando area following a hit and run crash. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 49 year old man and his nine year old son were driving eastbound on Interstate 4 in Volusia County when another car sideswiped them, causing their car to overturn in a ditch. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the son was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
One Killed, One Injured in Seminole County Head-On Collision
A car crash happened near to the Orlando Sanford International Airport around 12:30 on Monday that left one individual dead and another seriously injured. DeLand Crash Kills Parents, Leaves Children Critically Injured
On Monday, Greg and Sarah Moyers, a couple from Leadwood, Missouri, were driving down Interstate 4’s east lane, near DeLand, with two of their five children in the backseat of their Nissan when a Ford Focus, driven by the 43-year-old Charles King from New London, North Carolina, forced them off of the road and into a tree. According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, this happened at around 12:30pm, as the small family was on its way to the beach after spending several days at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
Driver Loses Control in Miami Parking Lot, Lands On Top of Two Parked Vehicles
According to local news reports, Trenia Robinson was sitting in her car with her godson waiting for her order from Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen to be filled. While waiting she recalls hearing the squeal of what sounded like car brakes, followed by a loud crunch. In hindsight, that loud crunch was the sound of an airborne white sedan landing on top of her car and the one parked next to her.
Accident along I-95 in Melbourne Sends 3 to Hospitals
This past Tuesday night, at around 8:15pm, an accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-95 that resulted in the complete shutting down of part of the interstate as well as several injuries. High Speed Driving Leaves One Dead in Delray Beach
One person has died and another has been seriously injured following an automobile crash in Delray Beach, Florida this week. According to news reports, a yellow Lamborghini and a yellow Porsche were driving at a very high speed when the Lamborghini crashed into a Buick Enclave, injuring the driver of the Lamborghini and killing the driver of the Buick. The accident happened at Northeast 1st Street.
Two Deputies Injured in Lake County Crash
In Lake County, two deputies and an unnamed motorist were injured when a fourth driver, also unnamed, collided with them near Four Corners. According to a statement issued by Florida Highway Patrol Spokesperson Trooper Steven Montiero, the accident occurred around 4:30 in the afternoon, close to where U.S. 27 and Golden Eagle Boulevard intersect. The two deputies were on duty, in separate patrol cars, and had each stopped to help the third motorist who was having car problems. Both of the patrol cars were on the shoulder of the road, and both had engaged their emergency lights.
