According to reports from authorities with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a 46-year-old individual has been apprehended for his alleged connection to a deadly hit-and-run collision that claimed the life of a 21-year-old driver earlier this week.

On the afternoon of December 23rd, a 21-year-old individual was behind the wheel of a Nissan Versa and traveling down the eastern lanes of Interstate 4, close to State Road 550 in Polk County.
