Orlando Judge Rules that KinderCare Crash Jury Won’t Hear Previous Drug Charges
A judge has ruled that the jury set to hear the case of Robert Corchado, the man accused of causing the KinderCare Crash last April that resulted in the death of a 4-year-old girl, will not hear arguments from prosecutors related to a previous crash involving illegal drugs. On April 9, 2014 an SUV driven by Corchado rear-ended a Toyota Solara, which caused the driver of the Toyota to lose control and crash into the KinderCare Center on Goldenrod Road. Corchado then fled the scene and attempted to ditch the vehicle at a home nearby, leaving behind several packages of illegal drugs in the vehicle, including marijuana, heroin and cocaine.
