An investigation into the death of two teenage friends has discovered that the 98-year-old man who caused the accidental deaths had recently been cleared to retain his license after taking a test in his home-state of Michigan and receiving notices from medical personnel clearing him for the road.
Head-On Collision Leaves One Dead in Osceola County
A 29-year-old Orlando man was killed in a head-on collision last weekend. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened when the driver was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes on State Road 60 near Peavine Road in south Osceola County. There was a 43-year-old male passenger in his car.
