The Florida Highway Patrol has released information regarding the crash that occurred on Sunday night that left two people dead and the right lane of Interstate 95, southbound, closed. According to Sgt. Kim Montes, the Florida Highway Patrol’s spokesperson, the accident happened around 6:15 in the evening.
Whirlpool Recalls Microwave After Several Suddenly Catch Fire
Whirpool, the famous manufacturer of household appliances, has issued a recall that affects around 15,200 units of their microwave and hood combinations. According to the company, the microwaves have a fault in their internal arc, and that this fault can result in a small plastic piece lighting on fire, which can quickly cause the entire microwave to suddenly combust. The microwaves, which were made in China, were sold in stores throughout the United States of America and cost anywhere from $370 to $470.
Melbourne Driver Collides with Train
According to a report filed by the Melbourne police department, there is an ongoing investigation around a collision that occurred on Thursday evening between a car and a train. A statement released by the Melbourne police, officers initially received reports of a collision that happened around 7:00pm where Hibiscus Boulevard crosses over the train tracks and emergency response crews responded immediately. When they arrived, they found a badly damaged vehicle that resting on the western side of the train tracks.

Family Hospitalized After Boat Crash in Indian River
A four-person family were returning in their boat from a dinner out on Friday night when their boat crashed and capsized in the Indian River, close to where the Hubert Humphrey Bridge crosses over the water. Cocoa Police’s Public Information Officer, Yvonne Martinez, the accident was reported around 10:40pm. The calls that began flooding the 911 response center, a boat had capsized in the river and several people were thought to be in the water.

In Daytona Beach this past Friday night an altercation erupted between a group of motorcyclists and a BMW that resulted in a collision between one of the motorcycles and the vehicle. Brandon Woman Charged for Darwin Car Accident
Although the accident happened nearly four months ago, a Brandon, Florida woman was charged with two counts of criminal vehicular operation, gross misdemeanor criminal vehicular operation and misdemeanor no proof of insurance. Pest Control Workers Badly Shocked in Daytona Beach
At the beginning of the work day on Friday, employees from Pioneer Pest Services, a termite and pest control company, were working to erect a special type of tent used to repel and eradicate termites over the roof of SOS Elite Marine, a boat company located at 701 South Beach Street. At around 7:10 in the morning, one of the employees from Pioneer Pest Services, an unnamed 28-year-old, accidentally made contact with a power line above the roof.
72-Year-Old Killed in Orange County Accident
The Florida Highway Patrol has released information regarding the accident on Thursday morning that left one person dead and two others with minor injuries. The report indicates that at 6:05 on Thursday morning, Bruce Clouting, a 74-year-old West Melbourne resident, was driving a 2014 four-door Ford north on State Road 520. In the passenger seat of his car, his wife, the 72-year-old Linda Clouting, was riding along.
Waterford Crash Sends Car into Pond
Florida State Troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash early on Tuesday morning that occurred along Alafaya Trail, just before the Waterford Lakes shopping center. A statement issued by the Florida Highway Patrol indicates that the crash, which is believed to have happened near to 2:20am, involved a 2014 four-door Kia sedan traveling northwards on Alafaya Trail and a 1999 four-door Mazda which, at the time of the incident, was idling at a red light.
