Man Injured After St. Petersburg Motorcycle vs. Car Accident
A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a collision with a car at the intersection of 34th Street South and 18th Avenue in St. Petersburg. The accident happened February 20th around 8:20 a.m. Pamela Renita Mason was southbound in a 2005 Ford Taurus on 34th Street and attempted to turn east onto 18th Avenue South, according to St. Petersburg police. Mason, 56, didn’t see a motorcycle being driven by Darnell Kindred, 32, who was headed northbound on 34th Street. In the collision, Kindred was thrown from the motorcycle and is now being hospitalized with serious injuries.
Passenger Perishes in Tampa Motorcycle Accident
An accident in the northern section of Tampa, Florida has claimed the life of a female motorcycle passenger. According to Tampa police, a 2004 Lexus was attempting to make a left hand turn when it was struck by a Toyota Corolla. A Kawasaki motorcycle that had been following the Corolla slamming into the vehicle directly after it struck the Lexus. The motorcycle was driven by a male, with a female passenger also aboard. The female passenger was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene. It is reported that the male and female aboard the motorcycle were husband and wife.
