Child Severely Injured After Falling from Kissimmee Roller Coaster
Within recent weeks, an alarming number of roller coasters and other amusement park rides from across the country have suffered major mechanical malfunctions, typically causing minor inconveniences for riders. The scenario was considerably different in Kissimmee last Thursday when a 6-year-old child was severely injured after falling from the Galaxy Spin ride at Fun Spot America.
Orlando Zip Line Accidents
Though there have been 16 accidents at Orlando’s Zoom Air since it opened in July 2012, Florida’s Bureau of Fair Rides Inspection recently said the zip line courses were safe. Despite recent deaths at Orlando amusement parks, the zip line company says they are not concerned, and that their facilities are inspected twice a year.
