The impact caused the motorcyclist to be thrown from his motorcycle onto the hood of the car. His head slammed into the car’s windshield and the momentum caused him to roll off the other side of the car. Emergency response personnel transported him to Broward General Medical Center. He was expected to survive his injuries.
According to law enforcement officials investigating the accident, the 45-year-old female driver of the 2000 Mazda was not injured in the accident and told police that she didn’t see the oncoming motorcycle. She was cited for failure to use due care.
