Single-Vehicle Crash on Florida Turnpike

By Orlando Personal Injury Attorney on July 14, 2015

A 29-year-old woman was killed on the first weekend of July in an accident on Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman, who was driving, lost control of her vehicle and it veered off the road and hit a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene, while the only other passenger suffered minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation, but is a reminder that even when an accident only involves one vehicle, the cost can be severe. While the cause of the accident is not yet known, there are many factors that could have had an influence, such as distracted driving, an animal in the rode, debris, poor road markings, passenger interference, vehicle malfunction, and a number of other possibilities.

Whatever the reason, the family of the driver, as well as the passenger, should seek legal assistance. The Law Offices of James O. Cunningham, P.A. have been working with single-vehicle accident victims and their families for more than 30 years. Attorney Cunningham has made it his mission to help grieving victims and their families get the compensation they deserve after an accident.

In this case, the passenger could be entitled to much more compensation than a health insurance company would normally provide. Even if you walk away from an accident with minor injuries, it is always a good idea to consult with a lawyer.

For more than three decades, attorney James Cunningham has worked with vehicle accident victims to obtain compensation for medical bills, ambulance fees, rehabilitation costs, therapy costs, lost wages, and more. Even when physical injuries are minor, mental anguish can take a toll, and insurance companies don’t always cover therapy costs. If you have to miss work due to the accident, you could lose wages or worse lose your job. Attorney Cunningham will work aggressively in your defense to make sure you are compensated in those cases.

If you or someone you know has been injured or killed in a single-vehicle accident, call the Law Offices of James O. Cunningham, P.A. today at 877-FL-INJURY (877-354-6587) for your free consultation and to determine the next steps for your case.
