Walt Disney Employee Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances

Walt Disney World is once again at the center of a murky incident that resulted in the death of one of their employees. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, an emergency call was placed somewhere around 9:15 in the morning that directed them to 1153 Century Drive, close to Pop Century Resort. The reports did not indicate what the caller told the dispatcher, and it is not clear just what the responding officers and medical teams believed they were responding to.

When the police and other first responders reached the area, they found a 33-year-old individual in a state of unconsciousness. This person did not respond to numerous attempts made to revive them, and after a short period of time they were pronounced dead by the Reedy Creek Fire Department, a group that was among the numerous people who responded to the incident.

George A. Kalogridis, the president of Walt Disney World Resort, publicly announced that the person in question was indeed a cast member of a Walt Disney production, but there was no further information on what the production was, whether or not it related to the incident, and what the resort was doing to assist the person’s family after the accident that left one of their employees dead.

As stated above, the reports from both the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the Walt Disney company are meagre at best. We know only that the incident is being considered an industrial accident, but this table only works to intensify the aura of mystery around the person’s death.

This death only comes several weeks after another person was found dead on Disney property. On August 20th, a body was discovered inside of a burning car located next to Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course. The details relating to that incident were similarly unclear, and numerous guests of the resort expressed their anger that the Disney company failed to inform them of the incident at the time it happened. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office claims that it is in the process of investigating this most recent Disney World fatality. It is hoped that they will continue to update the public as their investigation continues.
