The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that 10 people were injured over the weekend in a multi-vehicle car accident. According to the police report, the accident happened Saturday night on John Young Parkway and WD Judge Drive.
Although details on what caused the car crash have not been released yet, we do now that five adults and five children were hospitalized following the crash. In car accidents involving multiple vehicles and that leave multiple people injured, figuring out who is at fault and who owes who can become extremely complicated. For instance, if the accident in this particular case involved four cars, with three drivers having acted negligently, but with each causing different peoples injuries, trying to sort out who owes who in any subsequent personal lawsuits can be a daunting task. Or let’s say that two drivers were each responsible for the third driver’s injuries. The court must decide each individual driver’s level of fault and then require them to compensate the injured party in an amount that matches their level of fault.
In complex accidents like this, it is essential that you have an experienced Orlando car accident attorney at your side.
