Biketoberfest Attractions & Events
There is never a dull moment at the Daytona Beach 2015 Biketoberfest! There are many exciting things to do and see, so we have compiled a short list of the best events and most popular attractions, ranging from motorycle racing to zip line obstacle courses, and so much more!
B.F.F.A.R Rally: The BFFAR, known as Bikers for First Amendment Rights, have a rally in Holly Hill during Biketoberfest. They will provide information about the First Amendment, plus live music, a delicious barbeque, a motorcycle wash, plus safe and secure parking. Boardwalk Classic Bike Show: Some of the best custom bikes in Florida and throughout the nation will be showcased at this classic Bike show. Admire the chrome and leather as you stroll down the beachfront and listen to the ocean – if you can hear it over the pipes. The show starts at 11am on October 19th, with registration beginning at 8am. Prizes will be $500 for the first place motorcycle, and sixty other trophies and prizes will be awarded. Daytona International Speedway Marketplace and Demo Rides: Plenty of vendors will showcase their edibles and wares at this huge marketplace. They will offer free demo rides on the latest models of motorcycles for drivers that have a valid license and helmet. Or choose to cruise your own bike around this famous track. Plus, they will feature a bikini contest and leather fashion show. Call 800-PITSHOP or visit them at 1801 West International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Daytona International Speedway Motorcycle Races: A variety of professional and exhibition motorcycle races will be featured on the famous Daytona International Speedway. Enjoy vintage bike races, free demo rides, live entertainment, vendor displays, motorcycle racing, and so much more! Pinewood Cemetery: This is the place “across the street” from the Boothill Saloon. Here you won’t find many “lively” experiences, but you will find plenty of history. They have some one-of-a-kind Pinewood Cemetery t-shirts that they sell to benefit local charities. Ponce Inlet Lighthouse: A unique destination for bikers wanting the best views of Daytona. This historic lighthouse has 203 steps to the top, and it is also a national landmark. There are antiques from the early 1900’s, and plenty of one-of-a-kind souvenirs. This is truly a destination that history buffs won’t want to miss. For more info call 386-761-1821. Riverfront Park: If you want to be in the center of the action, this is the place to be. Here is the park where all the bikers will be congregating. Come and show off your ride to the thousands of other bikers that will be burning rubber and firing their pipes. Enjoy special food and drinks from the vendors, get one-of-a-kind souvenirs and admire all the sights. Second Avenue Merchants Association BikeFest: The businesses at the Second Avenue Merchants Association have teamed up to provide bikers with a wealth of food, entertainment and fun. This historic area will have live music, a variety of foods, plenty of unique shopping experiences, and live DJ’s that will spin your favorite music. Zoom Air Adventure Park: Get your adrenaline going at this adventure course that has over 12 zip lines and many obstacle courses and games. When you are done cruising down the ribbons of concrete highways, zip over the tree tops and enjoy the beauty of Florida from a unique perspective.
