Daytona Beach 2015 Biketoberfest
Biketoberfest® is less than two weeks away! From October 15th through the 18th, bikers will come together yet again to celebrate the best in motorcycle riding and culture. From Florida to Chicago to California and beyond, motorcyclists travel from near and far to kick up some beach sand, cruise on the scenic highways, and peruse the best in accessories, parts, motorcycles, and more. The hottest new models, for example, are always available for show by industry-leading vendors.
The Best Biketoberfest® Rides
Celebrated since 1937, the food is plentiful and delicious, and live music fills the air. But, truly, event goers return year after year to celebrate all things motorcycle with likeminded riders.
The stunning Daytona Beach area offers some of the best routes in the country. Favorite rides include the Halifax River to St. John’s River route, known locally as the River to River Tour, and the Old City Rendezvous, which runs from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine. Riders looking for a coastal view might prefer the Navigation Tour, during which they will cruise by the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, Turtle Mound at Canaveral National Seashore, and more. If you’re hoping to diversify your motorcycle excursion, the Steel Horse Scoot offers a variety of stops along the way: the naturalist will enjoy the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge, while the artistic and eclectic at heart love to take in the sights at Barberville Roadside Yard Art & Produce. Prepare for your trip by learning about the event’s most popular rides.
October is many Floridian’s favorite month because the weather is perfect. Meet the sun but not the humidity. From the Wednesday night Biketoberfest® Kick Off Party featuring the rockabilly sounds of the much-loved Razorbacks to the daily Daytona Beach International Speedway Free Demo Rides, riders look forward to this October motorcycle festival year after year.
